The composer, trombonist and singer Rita Payés presents her third album, De camino al camino, a search for beauty in everyday things. An evidence of the roots that connect us with our origins and connect us so as to keep on moving forward; a varied amalgam of styles and influences; a journey through her own compositions that the audience itself must complete.
With a consolidated artistic proposal backed by recognised artists, Rita Payés extends a cordial invitation to accompany her where emotion, mastery and connection converge in a masterly manner.
Rita Payés is another talented musician that has emerged from Sant Andreu Jazz Band, along with other young promising musicians of the jazz scene, such as Andrea Motis, Èlia Bastida and Magalí Datzira. She made her recording debut with her mentor Joan Chamorro and the record Imagina (2019), and has collaborated with C. Tangana, Silvana Estrada, Salvador Sobral, Kiko Veneno, Sílvia Pérez Cruz Jimmy Cobb, Louis Hayes, Scott Hamilton, Pedro Guerra, Scott Robinson, Toni Belenguer and Enrique Oliver, amongst other artists.
